Welcome to the Library and Information Services’ page for mobile devices. The sections of this page will link you to mobile friendly sites and apps for your research and study.

What is a mobile site?

Mobile sites can be accessed from any mobile web browser, regardless of device, and have been optimised for viewing on small screens. The site is usually stripped down, so it loads more quickly and is easier to view on a small screen. Some sites require you to register or login while on campus so that your mobile device can allow device pairing.

What is an app?

A mobile app (or application) has been designed to work on specific devices (for example: iPhone, Android phones). Apps must downloaded and installed.
